My dearest sweet big sister Bonnie,
You were always so caring and such a wonderful big sister. Though my heart is broken, I have been thinking about special memories of both of us staying up until mid-night watching soul train. I've been thinking about our walks in the park with the neighborhood girls on Sundays. I've been thinking about us going to the store and you buying barbecue chips and orange soda, sharing one chip with me and sayin, " eat it slow cause that's all you are getting". LOL. I remember you standing up against the bullies for me, flying to Atlanta and helping me take care of my first child, then I flew to Milwaukee to take care of you when you got sick after he was born. We were always there for each other. I remember you teaching me how to cook bacon and those wonderful pound cakes you used to bake. You were a great inspiration to so many. I loved your entrepreneur spirit. Owning your own business. I admired how you cared for your children and husband. How you would travel to Jackson 16 hours away to be there for your family when needed. I am so happy about how I was able to FaceTime you in the hospital and record our interactions. I will always keep those to remember you by. You will be missed my darling sister. I loved you dearly. Thanks for being such beautiful big sister. Inside and out.
