When I was 14 we had just lost my Grandmother (Dean) and her family in Milwaukee sent for me and my uncle to come visit. Everytime I talk about this time I went out there I always bring up Aunt Lenda she showed me so much love I felt like I had been around her my whole life and it meant so much at that time and those special memories that I still cherish to this day. To all of our family my heart goes out to you all especially her Sons, (My Cousins) and their families. Sending prayers and love to you all. Rest in paradise Aunt Lenda

When we met Lenda we were at Paula and Tim's wedding. She always laughed and danced and was so fun to be around. She was beautiful inside and out. We were blessed to be part of her life and family. Aunt Lenda's soft,loving,reassuring voice & playful attitude will be greatly missed. 1 of my fondest memories of her that shaped my life was at age 12 and think king I'm the darkest &teased of five siblings she told me you're a beautiful black girl don't ever forget so was she!

I’m Sister Lenda adapted brother because Mommy adopted when she was living as her son, Lenda was a very sensitive and kind woman being a nurse she cared about her patience, but most of all she cared about family she would give you a very last and think nothing of it and a beautiful smile that she always kept on her face exhibit the kindness that was in her heart she will be well missed by everyone! The Love and compassion always carrying for everyone putting them before her self, my last time talking and praying with her was at the beginning of the Sabbath Friday evening at sunset and between the sunsets she went to her heavenly home I felt the present of Our Heavenly Father The Almighty Most High as He dispatched with angelic host to come pick her up this we give The Almighty praise!!!

One of my favorite memories with aunt Lenda is her just sitting down with me and just having fun little conversations on what has been going on in our lives.

Aunt Lenda was a true sweetheart. Kind loving caring understand and fun she had a funny laugh. Her and I walked down the isle at Hank and Melanie wedding. She raised a wonderful family. And on a side note she always had a crush on me. So I have been told for years. Lol. All kidding aside she will be missed I loved her and she is in peace with God. R.I.P. Aunt Lenda

Lenda,
I miss you more than anyone would ever know. You were a kind, loving, generous, and giving soul. You gave generously to those in need and everyone around you.
I miss our weekly talks, I miss you calling me motor mouth, I miss hearing you say my name is Lennn-Daa, I missed you coming on vacation this year, I miss your laughter, I miss us being goofy, girl I just MISS you.
I wish you were still here, but our God closed your eyes so you can rest. No more pain, hurt, and suffering; you’re free from all the worries and stress from this world.
I was truly BLESSED to have had you as my aunt and I will hold the memories of you in my heart.
