I'm still trying to come to grips with your passing bro. There were so many things I know you still wanted to accomplish in your life, but obviously God had other plans. You were always a great friend and brother to me, and I will miss you a lot. Not being able to attend your homegoing services was really hard for me, but I know you would have wanted me to go and see about my Dad too. He was so hurt after hearing of your passing, and he too knew the bond that we shared. There aren't many people who can say they have shared a friendship for over 50 years and things were always where we left off. Nothing changed between us except time. Rest on brother and know that your presence here on this earth is missed by many. Until we see each other again....

I was saddened by the news of Ruben passing. I had the pleasure of knowing and working with Ruben at the same company for a number of years as well as his brother Cliff. We seen one another a couple times in passing this summer and it was always nice to say Hello. He was a good man and my Deepest regards to his family. Sincerely Iris Anderson
